In addition to the clear reference to the mastiff, the emblem of the club, powerful, tenacious, and spirited, there’s the Goddess erected atop the column of the Grand’Place of Lille to commemorate the heroism of Lille during the Prussian siege in 1792. Two symbols highlighted by bold and impactful iconographic and typographic treatment.”
